Many school districts struggle to meet the needs of English learners, and the challenges can be especially daunting when it comes to supporting students from that population who have disabilities. A recent survey by the EdWeek Research Center found that 75 percent of educators say the number of appropriately trained staff in their school systems are insufficient for English learners in special education.

In this webinar, our panelists will discuss strategies that district and school leaders can create to better support for this population—often called dually identified students — whether it’s through professional training, classroom support, or structural changes across the district.
