As AI becomes part of everyday learning, new research is raising a critical question for educators: Are traditional assessments still giving us an accurate picture of what students know and can do?

Join Melissa Loble, Chief Learning Officer at Instructure, to explore what this shift means for K–12 education and why measuring student thinking, reasoning, and real-world skills matters more than ever.

Together, we’ll examine:

  • The evolving role of traditional assessments
  • What it means to capture meaningful evidence of student learning
  • How district leaders can rethink assessment practices to understand not just what students know, but how they think and apply their knowledge
